This book helped me with some of the problems I faced in nature journaling. I was so pleased that it showed how to sketch feathers, tree bark, shells, and had 16 pages just on drawing flowers. It gives examples for drawing trees, skies, moving water and landscapes. It also included tips for drawing people and animals.
There is advice on which materials to use and all the different drawing media are covered: pencil, charcoal, conte, pen, coloured pencils, pastels and water-soluble pencils.
