This author is undoubtedly skilled and naturally artistic. The book is an example of realistic nature sketches without the step by step instruction you would expect. It teaches no shape forms, no definitive skills just highlights and pointers. The detail it teaches is invaluable but NOT for your basic beginning drawer or artist. Read for developing further skills.
