This book had a lot of pretty pictures. But don't buy it if you actually want an in-depth instructional book on Chinese calligraphy. About 2/3 of the book is just about making crafts.

This is a great book for anyone wanting to learn about the different styles of Chinese calligraphy. It gives enough information along with a list of brushes needed for each style so that I could actually practice some simple symbols. I don't believe I will ever try the giant writing style as it requires a horses tail (the whole thing!) and all the horses I know would look very sad without their's. I'm hoping to get some poster size panels done for the New Year's celebrations. I also know where to find the resources for all the symbols relating to the style I've chosen. Thanks for the guide to Chinese calligraphy.
