Product Description

David Bellamy is perhaps best known for his watercolor portraits of exotic landscapes, and in this instructional handbook he shares the secrets behind some of his finest works. Both a practical and an inspirational guide to painting mountains, deserts, jungle, gorges, and other wilderness areas, many tips and techniques for watercolor painting are provided along with hints for capturing the right mood and light. Guidelines are also offered for armchair artists who enjoy painting wilder landscapes but who don?t want to or cannot trek into the wilderness.

I own most of David Bellamy's books and videos and each time he succeeds in amazing me with the paintings that he produces and the exercises he publishes in his book. This new one is no exception and is another that I cherish. I recommend it to anyone interested in watercolour painting as there is a fountain of information and instruction in it.
