Product Description
Teaches total beginners how to paint a complete picture in just one weekend

This fun guide's `weekend' formula allows eager beginners to build skills gradually and produce an attractive, frameable painting in only a weekend. The materials and basic technique sections provide a fast grounding in the skills required for painting watercolor landscapes, allowing budding artists to quickly move on to nine short landscape-painting courses that take them through practice exercises on Saturday, all the way to a finished painting on Sunday.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars I LOVE this book   December 16, 2008
I purchased several watercolor books to help me improve what I learned in class. This book is the best by far! Not only is it in spiral form- which lets you see while doing the lesson, but it separates the different things like shading, mixing colors, and how to's so you can pick what you want to learn and concentrate on that subject alone. Recommend for anyone who is wanting to learn to paint with watercolor.
